Skype for Business

I love Skype - in fact, I don't know how I'd live without it in our business! I use Skype for multiple purposes, including (but not limited to) being able to communicate with our virtual team, sending messages back and forth to friends and family, and also to conduct and participate in interviews. There are times when the Skype connection isn't great, but I'm sure that's a combination of my Internet connection and Skype's ability to serve an area at 100%, 100% of the time. If I could be guaranteed a perfect call every time, then Skype would definitely have my 5 stars!

Google Hangout! Yet another great product offered by Google. This service, to date, has been flawless and allows a max of 10 users in one hangout. If the user doesnt have a video connection they can still join the hangout video telephone call in. Better yet, its free. We use google hangout for meetings and conference calls, internally and sometimes with clients, to make the conference experience a little more personal. Great product and would highly recommend for the small businesses. #spiceworks

Every time I've worked with a client who was using the 8x8 service, they also had positive things to say about them and their experiences.8x8 has great support response time when needed, great phone prices and products. Works reliably, but very limited in features, management and reporting. #spiceworks

One of my clients has used StartMeeting in the past. The prices are very reasonable for what they offer (I think they offer a free plan as well, but I could be mistaken). However, I found the interface to be very clunky and awkward to use. All in all, it's a decent tool for startups and small shops, but there are definitely better tools out there for video conferencing if you're willing to pay more. #spiceworks
