BT own most of the telecom infrastructure, and do a good job of maintaining it. Not always the cheapest, and customer service depends on who answers the call, but I can't fault their local engineers. Cities do get a better service though, especially with updates to their service, whilst rural communities may have to settle for using the old technology.
First of all , you cant expect a lot from BT as they are know for their worst customer service . but in terms of availability in various region you cant beat them. i wanted to install it to three remote sites and they are the only one available then. When it working, it works prefect. IF any problems, it is so hard to get through customer service.
Worst customer service of all the big UK comms providers. Poor service reliability and support who don't seem interested in actually trying to help fix your issues. EOC speeds were consistently lower than stated They state on their website "7 hour repair for total loss of service"; it takes about that long just to log the support call!!!
Using BT for several years; I've found it to be somewhat more expensive than other providers . While we didn't experience too many issues whilst using them, when problems did crop up they were not good at all at resolving them effectively. Their customer service is severely lacking! They say they guarantee reliability and compensate etc but you try telling that to the person who answers the phone when you call them!
Overall, I can't really recommend them; there are better providers out there that are more affordable.
