Very easy to use , installation is a very basic process and support is very responsive. We installed this for a 1000+ company and they dont get much problems with this at all. once installation and training completed , it does take much time for anyone to manage this product. #spicysip

My company has 2 locations and we originally signed on with Paetec. After Windstream acquired Paetec we experienced many service and especially customer service issues. Our 2 offices utilize an MPLS connection. At our HQ we have 4.5Mbps bonded T1 for our MPLS, SIP Trunks and DIA. We support about 50 users and have 20 channels SIP for our call center. Our remote office has a single T1 (1.5 Mbps) for the MPLS and SIP trunks. They support 5 users and 5 channels SIP.
We started having service related issues and we were told that we were using all our bandwidth. We ran tests and examined logs and found nothing changed on our network. They advised us that we should get the Advanced Reporting service to better track down the issues. This took 4 months to get activated and working and it showed the same thing that we were using all our bandwidth. Once again we looked at our network and found everything fine. To make a long story short after months of aggrevation, testing, charges for a service we did not need we (not Windstream) found the issue in their managed router. No apologies, credits or thanks for finding their issue.

I have had a couple of fiber turn ups with Windstream. The engineers were knowledgeable and everything went smooth. They also assisted troubleshooting some issues on our side. Most of the turn ups I was able to just keep the speaker phone on, while the business owner on site let them in to install. I would recommend Windstream to anyone looking for a good fiber vendor. #spiceworks

We originally signed up with Windstream over 3 years ago. We have 4 locations that supports a total of 120 users. We setup fiber at 2 locations and use MPLS to connect to all 4. The fiber connection at the 2 locations is extremely reliable. After our initial 3 year contract we increased the bandwidth from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps at each of the locations with fiber. From a technical side of things I have no complaints. My problem with this carrier was the customer service support. At the end of the contract it was hard to get in touch with anyone. I believe they were going through some changes but we never could get an answer on anything. Eventually it got better and now we do not have any issues. That is the reason for the lower score.

Have had pretty good luck with Windstream. We have had them for a little over a year. Very fast responses and they always get our issue's fixed. I would recommend there service to a anyone that is looking to upgrade to fiber or switch providers. We have had little to no down time while using Windstreams Business.
