i have used 1 and 1 shared hosting plan. it is far better than most of the hosting companies out there. they never had a ddos attack and most of the websites are very fast. they dont have any limitation on how many websites you can add so , add as many as you want but dbfile might be limited to 10 + depends on your price plan. I love their service and will certainly use it in future.

1&1 were my first web host and are still registrar for a number of my domains. they have a good control panel that designed to accommodate beginners. it is was easy to navigate through their features. but the customer service was horrible. Always had problems with them when ever i call as they literally don't know much hosting. so i found better hosting elsewhere but still using it for domains.

I used 1 & 1 when I first started in developing websites. The user interface made life easy in understanding how everything is setup. Support was great to me in going over the system, and how to get everything up and running properly (web hosting, and email). Still use them to this day for one domain, and no complaints.

One of the worst shared service i have ever used. the product itself is not bad but dubious customer service and unhelpful tech support makes it worst. i had to wait more than 30 minuteseach time to reort an issue and the agents were rude and asking call back later, etc.. if your website is needs constant update wthout downtime, try elsewehere

I only heard very bad reviews about 1and1 shred hosting but personalty i never had much issues lately, as long as you dont have to contact customer support for anything. They just transfer you through different departments and wont have any real knowledgeable agent to help you. I never had any issues may be that is why i never complaints.

they dont use typical cpanel for navigation and uses their own customer dashboard which is not bad after all. recently they changed the whole interface and became more simple but it is a bit slow open dashboard. connecting websites are very simple as connecting a folder from hosting but adding A, cname records are a pain. normally they have to be done by cutomer service and it is hard to get access to them

I have used 1&1's web hosting for a couple of my clients. The main pro to their services is the price and the unlimited email accounts. Their customer service isn't the best, but all in all it's the best "bang for your buck" style of webhosting for small mom and pop shops. #spiceworks

I am using 1&1 for years. They got better in their customer support in recent years. so i canse they are not horrible as they used to be. but i never had any downtime with them for last 3 -4 years. mailboxes are free which is a plus. all in all, i still like their service.

I have used 1 and 1 shared hosting before. it is entirely different dashboard than cpanel or anything i know. But it is pretty much simple , even a non tech can understand how to do stuff. but their customer support is so terrible that you dont even want to talk to them. there is no way you get anything out of it especialy when you need to cancel your account.

i am using their shared hosting for more than 5 years. main reason i used to stay with them was to utilise their free mailbox option. But their customer support is the worst i ever used. they never contact you back. if you need to trasnfer a domain , they will make you bleed. This doesnt come with any cpanel but their own setups. you cant add any a record or cnames directly as you have to contact them. bit of a pain but not much down time.
