Hi, my name is Mike Smith, I’m the President of AeroCom.

Today I’m going to tell you quickly, why, if you’re looking for a Hosted VoIP phone system for your company, you may want to find a service provider who lets you add or remove users manually from the administrative portal.

If your company has a lot of employees coming and going quite a bit, one thing you may not like is having to call the service provider and create a ticket to add that user, or remove that user from your system. Because, as we all know, your manager might come up to you at the last minute and say, “Hey, we have a new employee starting today, can you please have them added before lunch?”

If that’s a possibility, you want to find a service provider that lets you add or remove the users, yourself, through the administrative portal. This isn’t just tweaking a user, but actually being able to provision a new user, provided you have a phone ready to go as well to the system.

Not all providers can do this. In fact, I’d say probably roughly about 30% of the providers allow this. The rest of them do not. Make sure you look for that upfront when you’re looking at hosted service providers if your company has a lot of employees coming and going.
