Non-VMware DRaaS Providers

December 15, 2015 Aerocom

So you are looking into Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) but one or more of your virtual machines are running something other than VMware (i.e. Hyper-V, AWS, etc.).

In November, I spent hours calling almost all of the DRaaS service providers listed on our website to learn a little more about their offering. One thing I learned was that they all provide a service that supports VMware virtualization software but not all of them support the other brands of virtualization software, such as Hyper-V, AWS, and many more.f

So, if you are a non-VMware company, take a look at these providers for DRaaS. Go to www.aerocominc.com and see what the reviews are on each of them. If you find something you like, just click the button below (or click “Get Quotes” on the menu bar), and we’ll tell you which 3 providers are the best fit for your company.

Evolve IP
Great provider for anything cloud or hosted VoIP, with 7 flavors of DRaaS, to fit all of your needs.

Green Cloud Technologies
A pure cloud computing provider that is a fantastic fit if you are wanting DRaaS for now and ultimately want to transition your servers off-site and into the cloud as they become EoL.

Matrix
Awesome cloud provider for mid-size businesses that want the white-glove treatment with tons of support. They’ve been doing “cloud” before it was cool.

NewCloud Networks
A pure cloud computing provider that prides themselves on being flexible with client needs.

QTS
This cloud provider has colo by the gallon (13 US and 12 International Data Centers), and is a good cloud provider if you are looking for a large, custom solution.

Rapidscale
Are you looking to put everything in the cloud? Then Rapidscale is a really good fit with solid solutions and competitive pricing.

ServerCentral
ServerCentral might be a good fit if you are looking for a company that prides themselves on having a plan in-writing for every step of your DRaaS solution. They pride themselves on policies and procedures to make your experience as efficient and effective as possible.

SingleHop
If you’re a Magic Quadrant follower, then you’ll recognize SingleHop. With heavy investments in technology, they can do your DRaaS inexpensively and deploy it fast.

UnitedLayer
Do you have Hybrid needs that need to be woven into your DRaaS solution? Do you want colo on the west coast? If so, UnitedLayer might be your provider.

I know that I didn’t cover a ton of info on these providers and that’s so that you don’t fall asleep when reading this. If you’d like more thorough information, just contact us and let us know what you’d like to know and we’ll go get it.

As always, although this information is useful, the best information is YOUR two cents. I know theory but you know the practical side, which is what really matters. If you’ve used a DRaaS solution from these or any provider, please write a quick review on them on www.aerocominc.com, so that other IT decision makers can hear your two cents before buying.
