A lot of studies that have revealed that growing up with grandparents living in the house, can significantly benefit children.
Richard Loew, CIO of Motiva Enterprises, would agree.
Growing up in Houston, Richard’s grandmother lived with his family, and it seems free babysitting wasn’t the only benefit his parents got from the deal!
Richard says it forced him to look at things in different “lenses” …as he puts it.
This multi-generational childhood started paying big-time dividends, immediately after college. It has actually become one of the keys to his astounding success in the corporate world. Richard has thrived in nearly every position he’s had, and has been the CIO at three different companies, leading each through major transformations.
Richard recently sat down with Mike, and told him the story.
