Okay, So as you’re shopping around, you’re probably looking at cloud call center software solutions or contact Center software Solutions, as they’re often called now. As you look at those solutions, some service providers, some cloud solutions providers charge in addition to the monthly per user rate or per agent rate. There’s a flat fee and then they charge a metered usage per minute rate on top of that. So that’s something you need to consider. there’s five questions you need to ask about that usage rate. And I’m going to tell you that on this video.

5 Questions to ask about usage rates

if your company is shopping for a new call center software solution and obviously you’re looking at cloud solutions, that’s where the market is right now. And you definitely want to ask, first of all, does your company charge usage on your cloud contact center or software platform? If the answer is yes, there are five questions you need to ask.

Number 1, what is the rate for outbound calls on the contact center platform?

Number 2, what’s the rate for inbound calls to direct inward dialing numbers to did numbers?

Number 3, what is the rate for incoming calls to your company’s toll free number?

Number 4, do they charge a different rate if that person is calling from or to a mobile number?

And lastly, number 5, do they charge a different rate if the person is calling into your company from an international destination or if you guys are calling out to an international destination? So that’s something you need to know. So those are the five questions you need to make sure you ask.
