But before we get too far ahead of myself. Quick plug if you’d like. My recommendations on the best calling plan service providers to use for teams phone system doing like operator connect or direct routing as a service. Reach out, by email or by phone (714.593.0011). Microsoft Teams Phone System Reliability

All right, so teams phone system. Your company is looking into a new phone system and teams phone system is on your list of things that you’re considering. But one of the things that you’re probably concerned about is, is reliability, is uptime fail over, Hey, we’ve heard teams phone system had some outages and they did you know teams phone system did have some outages over the last couple of years. So if teams phone system goes down, is your entire phone system going to be down? So that’s something that is concerning you. You wanted to learn more about, well, watch my other videos. I’ll talk about some different redundancy options for teams today

Fail Over Teams

I want to cover the option of the ability to fail over teams. You’re like your main number from your team’s phone system to a third-party auto attendant. So what this is, this is a good option for a service provider who’s coming in and maybe providing operator connect to your midsize or large organization. And you know, the way they can provide you redundancy is they can auto fail over your any phone number that you have, which usually is your main phone number is the only phone number companies do this with. But sometimes companies have a couple of phone numbers they do it with, but they can do it for one phone number at a time. They usually charge 10 to $15 per month. And what they can do is if teams goes down, they can automatically fail over that phone number to point it to an auto attendant sitting on a third party platform. And within that auto attend attendant, you can have like have it preprogramed with a dial by name directory or dial by department directory with people’s cell phones on there so that so that people can reach other people within the organization. Still once they get to the auto attendant, it can forward to other phone numbers. So it’s just another way to to fail over teams phone system that you should know about.

Conclusion

Again, check out the other videos that I did on this same topic. So to figure out the other ways you can fail over for teams phone system, but I hope that helped clear the air a little bit about redundancy and reliability of teams phone system. If you’d like to know the best operator, connect vendors to quote for your organization specifically, or the direct routing service providers to quote, don’t try to Google it and find it on the Internet. There’s thousands of them out there. The chances of you finding the right fit for your organization is pretty much nil. Instead, reach out and contact me, by email or by phone (714.593.0011). I’m a broker for all the major operator Connect vendors out there, anyone that you’d want to quote, I represent. And so they all have different niches based on different company needs. So I’ll ask you a few questions about your companies phone requirements and based on your answers to those questions, all pair you up with the right vendors to quote. Also introduce you to the right reps to work with at those vendors and oversee the coding process to make sure you get the best pricing. And oh, by the way, the actual fee that I charge my broker fee isn’t paid by you, it’s paid by the service providers. So it’s absolutely free for you to use me. So no excuse not to at least reach out. I love talking about this stuff, as you’ve seen on all these videos, and I’m happy to help. All right. So thanks again for watching and I will catch you on the next video.
