Let’s put our heads together on this.

Zoom Pro or Business Bundle

All right. The first thing I want to talk about is the pro or business bundles. So if your company has Zoom today for meetings or one thing you might want to consider doing is bundling Zoom phone, For instance, pro plus costs about $18.32 per month per user. That includes the meetings. It also includes the phone. But don’t worry, my customers don’t pay that much. That’s the that’s the price listed on their website. That’s why you want to reach out and contact me. My customers will probably pay more around the $14 range, but again, it depends on the amount of users you have. If you have 50,000 users, it’s going to be a lot different than if you have 50 users. So definitely reach out to me on that.

And then business plus is about $22.49 per user. And my customers, I’ve seen them pay right around the $16 range for that bundle. it depends on the amount of users you have, but that’s the price for the bundles. Again, that is bundling the Zoom meetings license with Zoom phone, adding Zoom phone in there. So it’s a great way to do it. If you have a lot of users that are going to need both. And the real key there is the number of users you could have on the meetings, the maximum amount of users and the length of the meetings that you’re going to have. If you want to go from Zoom free zoom business to, you know, Zoom Pro and all that good stuff.

Zoom Phone Unlimited

Zoom Phone Unlimited is probably the most popular Zoom phone that my customers purchase out there. And that’s just the Zoom phone system. So if you have, you know, hundreds of users or thousands of users that just need basic phone system features that zoom phone and that zoom phone unlimited, if you don’t need meetings bundled in anything like that, the base cost for that is $15 per month per user. But my customers, depending on on how many users you have, I’ve seen the per month per user costs go below $10 per month per user. So you know, $9 per month per user, $8 per month per user for everything. And the nice thing about Zoom, they have one license level for all the features for Zoom phone. So they have one single license level that’s included for that cost and that includes unlimited call recording storage, which is nice. It includes SMS texting, it includes an eye assistant, which is great. So one license level includes all of that prices, retail shelf price, around $15 per month per user. But if you have a lot of users like you do because you’re medium to large size company, you’re going to get a lot lower than that. Again, contact me for exact pricing for your company.

Zoom Phone Metered

Zoom also has a metered plan, although not to me and my customers have ever really done the metered plan. Sometimes they’ll do that for commentary, phones that are hardly ever used and the retail price for that is $10 per month per license or per user per device. And a lot of times I’ve seen that price get all the way down to around $5 per month per user. Again, that’s metered, meaning that no usage is included. So every outbound call that you make is going to be charged the per minute rate.

No Hidden Fees

since we’re talking about Zoom pricing, the one thing I definitely want to mention that I love about Zoom’s pricing is that there’s no administrative fee and there’s no 911 fee that’s tacked on to that pricing that I just mentioned to you. And that’s not the case with a lot of cloud phone system vendors out there. A lot of cloud phone system vendors charge this admin fee or administrative fee and then they charge an in-app one fee. And those fees usually add up to about $4 for that for the admin fee per month per user and a dollar per month per user for the non one fee. So overall that’s an index in added $5 per month per user that a lot of cloud phone system charge on top of their monthly license costs. But Zoom doesn’t charge those. So those prices that I mentioned earlier, that’s their price. Of course you’re going to pay taxes on top of that. But there aren’t these extra hidden whopper gotcha fees that they’re really discretion. All the service providers will tell you that everyone has them. But that’s not true. Every provider does not have them. And Zoom is one of the providers that does not have them.

Most Common Extras

Are there any extras to zoom phone pricing? Well, sure there are. In case your company wants more features and functionality that’s included in the base license like call center software.

Zoom has call center software available. The base price for their call center software, they have three different levels, $69 per month per call center agent, $99 per month per call center agent in $149 per month per call center agent. Now that pricing I’ve seen discounted about 25% or so, depending on the amount of agents you guys have. You know, again, this is a medium to large sized company we’re talking about with several agents. This isn’t one agent, This isn’t one user. But if you have several users and then several contact center agents, I’ve seen that pricing get pretty low a lot of times discounted about 25%

Power Packs

Another Cool add on feature that Zoom phone has is something called a power pack. And what that does, it kind of gives you call center analytics without having to get call center licensing. So the nice thing about that is is that you just buy a power pack for however many administrators that your company needs and it allows them to see real time call analytics on things like call queues, like what’s the average hold time and things like that, which normally most providers don’t offer that unless you want to get their call centers software. But Zoom actually offers it in this power pack. The power pack also gives you the ability to have your main number receive SMS text messages. So if you want to advertise to customers, hey, you can call us or text us on our main number. Or power pack does that and it’s only $25 per month per phone number. So it’s kind of nice out. So if you have a few supervisors who want to have some real time analytics over kind of a minor call center in your office, but you’re not quite ready for the full call center feature suite, then power packs a great in-between solution at only $25 per month per phone number.

Idle DID’s

Every single provider is going to charge you for idle IDs, and that’s Zoom’s base price is about $5 per month per did for idle did. So that’s if you guys have a bunch of IDs when you go to port over from your PRI or things like that and you have a bunch of them that you’re waiting to use for a later date, like is your company grows, you want to still have sequential phone numbers. Well, those are called idle deeds. So they’re just sitting there not being used. Used in Zoom’s base price for that is $5 per month per ID but company with a lot of idle the is that price is very flexible usually its ends up coming down to run a dollar per month per did. But again it depends on the company and how big you are, how many users you have, how bad Zoom wants that business to lower that price.

Toll Free

Very similarly priced is toll free number. So if your company has a toll free number, that is an additional charge. That’s $5 per month per toll free number and there’s a usage fee on top of that. So every minute that someone calls your toll free number, you’re going to pay a per minute usage fee. And the base price for that is 3.7 cents per minute for inbound toll free calls coming from people in the United States. Now, that price can be negotiable based on the number of toll free minutes your company has. For instance, if you have a big call center and everyone’s calling that toll free number, your volume is very high. It’s many, many thousands of minutes a month. You’re not going to pay 3.7 cents a minute. You’re probably pay $0.02 a minute or less, maybe a penny and a half per minute. So depending on the amount of minutes you have, you can buy minutes in bulk and get that price way down from 3.7

International Usage

And lastly is international usage. If your company is calling countries outside of the United States, you’re going to pay a per minute rate for each of those countries individually. And if you’d like the list of the rates for each country, I’ll actually link it in the description so you can read through the rates. There’s hundreds of countries to pick from, and every country has a different rate. So take a look at the list and see the countries that your company is calling the most and how much it’s going to cost. But most companies don’t do a lot of international calling, especially these days with, you know, Zoom meetings and things like that. You don’t really have to make the outbound calls you used to. So a lot of times it’s minor. It’s like a couple of cents per minute. If using a couple hundred minutes a month, it’s not very much, you’re going to end up paying $20 per month for international for the most part. So not a huge deal there unless your company is making a ton of international calls.
