Your company is mid-size. I’d say maybe over a hundred employees to around 5,000 employees and you’re looking at cloud PBX Solutions. One of the solutions you’ve probably heard of is RingCentral. You’re wondering, “Hey, what’s up with the RingCentral? Are they any good? What’s the deal with them?”

Well, I’m a broker for all the major service providers. In fact, I’ve been in the industry for 20 years. I’ve owned our company for 18, selling all the major cloud PBX service providers out there. We were selling cloud PBX when there was just one provider. I have a lot of customers with RingCentral. Done a lot of business with all the different service providers out there. I wanted to make a video and give you my review of RingCentral in 2021 for mid-sized companies.

The third thing I want to mention is on my reviews, I only talk about positive things. You’re not going to hear anything negative about RingCentral on this here. I want to keep it positive and tell you the things that I think are great about them.

The Review

Market Share

First and foremost about RingCentral is something you probably already know. They’re the biggest name in the industry. They have the largest amount of market share. They’ve been doing it as long as anyone and they built a very good reputation.

Although some people will say, “Oh, that’s marketing and things like that,” it’s really not. There’s no way your company can grow that fast and do that well over that long of a period of time if you’re not doing a lot of things right.

That’s first and foremost, is they’ve got the market share to back everything up that they say about their company, “Hey, we do a good job.” Well, they’ve got the market share to back it up. Their company is fantastic…

Gartner

Which leads me to another thing I like about them is you look on Gartner and they’re very highly rated on there. They’ve been that way for as long as I can remember. It’s a very safe bet for you to quote RingCentral for your company and show your executive team, “Hey, we put a RingCentral. They’ve been around for a long time. They’re highly rated on Gartner.” Those are some great things right out of the gate that I like about them.

Footprint

Another thing that I like about them for a mid-sized company is that they have a fantastic international presence. They have probably one of the best international presence networks. They have one of the best footprints internationally of all the major cloud PBX providers. If you’re looking for a company that can hit all of your international sites, RingCentral is definitely up there with one of the best.

Adding & Removing Users

Another thing that I really like about them, it’s very simple, but RingCentral allows you to add or remove users on demand. For a mid-sized company, this is huge. If you have over 100 employees, you’ve got employees coming and going all the time, especially if you have 500, 1000 employees.

The last thing you want to do is pair up with a cloud PBX service provider that you have to call them every time you want to add or remove a user from your cloud PBX platform. RingCentral really does a good job with that and you can do that on demand with them.

Integrations

Another thing that I like about them is that they have a bunch of out-of-the-box integrations with a ton of different software applications. If your company needs RingCentral or your cloud PBX application to integrate with Salesforce, like every time a sales rep makes a call to a current customer, it’s automatically recorded in an activity in Salesforce.

Things like that, Salesforce integration, all types of integrations. They have a bunch of prebuilt, out-of-the-box integration so you’re not having to pay them to do custom integrations for you, which can get kind of costly with some of the companies out there. Great feature for a mid-sized company.

Contact Center

Another thing that I really like about them for a mid-sized company is that they have a fantastic contact center solution that is really powered by NICE inContact. NICE inContact’s one of the best cloud contact solutions out there, very similar to RingCentral. The tried and true have been around a long time. That’s what RingCentral uses for their high-end contact center.

They white label the NICE inContact solution, but they not only white label it, they offer some cool features and benefits that you can’t get directly through them. For instance, typically they don’t charge for calls transferred between the RingCentral UCaaS application, your PBX application and the contact center application.

For instance, say a call comes in to your auto attendant and they actually need to go to the contact center. One of your employees transfers that call over to the contact center. Because you’re buying both from RingCentral, you’re not having to pay for those minutes, so you’re not having to pay for them. It’s inside the contact center and RingCentral as well.

There’s a couple other additional benefits in there too, but the video’s not long enough for me to get to all of them, but another great solution there that they have.

Compliance

Finally, the last thing I wanted to mention is RingCentral is certified in all the major ways your company needs compliance, whether that’s HIPAA or any type of compliance your company has. Pretty much, if anybody has it, RingCentral has it. I don’t want to name them all. There’s so many different ones, PCI, HIPAA, you name it. We all know there’s a lot of acronyms out there, but RingCentral has a lot of certifications. Mid-sized companies need that a lot of times and RingCentral has it.
