Your company’s in the market for Microsoft teams phone system. And one of the things I wanted to tell you is that when you start quoting Microsoft teams phone system operator, connect is going to be one of your options. And when you choose operator connect as the option to purchase teams phone system, one of the additional options you’re going to have is to buy Microsoft teams phone standard from that operator, connect provider. So if you don’t know what Microsoft teams phone standard is, take a look at that pricing video, because when you buy teams phone system, there’s two pricing components. There’s teams phone standard, which is the feature add on that you have to add on to teams in order for teams phone system to work. And there’s also a calling plan that you have to add and that’s where the operator connect provider comes in. So some operator connect providers give you this option of Microsoft teams phone standard. You can buy it from them instead of having to buy it from Microsoft directly or your current CSP. Well, should you buy teams phone standard from your operator connect provider? My name is Mike Smith. I’m the president of Aero com. Come, let’s put our heads together on this.

2 Pricing components For Microsoft
All right. So you’ve decided to purchase themes, phone system. And if you’ve watched any of my videos, you probably see that I recommend more than likely you use operator connect for your calling plan. as I mentioned earlier, if you watch my videos on Microsoft teams phone system pricing, which I’ll link up in here in the video, if you’ve watched a video, you’ll know that there’s two pricing components. There is the add on for your teams licensing called teams phone standard. And there’s also the calling plan feature, not feature the calling point that you have to get. And that’s where operator connect vendors step in and sell you that calling plan. Well, if your company doesn’t have an E5 license, that means if you have an E, three and E one or business premium business standard, that means you’re going to have to purchase the teams phone standard add on in order to get teams phone system. Well, the nice thing is some operator connect vendors are a CSP and they can sell you teams phone standard instead of you having to get it from your current CSP or from Microsoft directly. And you might be wondering, well, we really like our CSP or we like working with Microsoft. Maybe we’re buying from Microsoft and we’d like that better. That’s fine. You can continue to purchase all of your existing 365 licensing through them and split off the teams phone standard with another CSP, which would be your operator connect vendor. So you can have two CSP essentially, or you could purchase from your operator, connect Vendor and Microsoft directly just because you purchase one thing Microsoft teams phone standard from your operator connects vendor doesn’t mean you have to purchase everything through them.

If they don’t offer it, it’s not a big deal. Just buy it separately
So for that reason, I really recommend that you do purchase teams phone standard from your operator connect vendor if they offer it. If they don’t offer it, it’s not a big deal. You don’t have to purchase it from them and you can just purchase it from Microsoft directly or another. CSP It’s not a big deal, but if they do offer it, I really recommend purchasing it from your operator connect Vendor. And the reason why is because that gives you one point of contact for all things phone system. So for instance, after you sign up for Microsoft teams phone system and you have good operator connect vendor, you’ve talked to me, I hook you up with a good operator. Connect Vendor You’ve had them for a year or so and you have a question about troubleshooting one of the users voice mail. Well, you’re not sure. Could that be a dial tone issue? In that case, that would be under the Operator Connect vendor umbrella. Or maybe it’s a software issue. If it’s a software issue having to do with teams phone standard, which is the software feature used for phone system, you might end up having to call your CSP to troubleshoot that separate than your operator connect vendor. So it just makes sense. If the operator connect Vendor offers teams phone standard, if they’re are CSP purchased directly from them. It’s the same exact pricing that you would pay in XP or Microsoft directly. They’re going to offer for the same pricing. So it just makes a lot of sense to get it for the same price and get it from your phone system vendor. That way you have all things phone system through one vendor.

Maybe you really want to find one that’s also a CSP who can sell you teams phone standard. Reach out, send me an email or give me a call (714.593.0011). That’s my job. I’m a broker for all the major vendors out there, all the major operator connect vendors, all the major cloud phone system vendors, all the major ISP’s. I’m a broker for all those companies. I represent over hundreds or maybe two, three over two or 300 different vendors. So reach out and contact me. I’d love to help you with this stuff. And based on your companies recommendation, I can tell you the top two or three operator connect vendors you should be coding for your company.
Ask me about the best business phone system provider for your company
Also tell you which vendors to avoid or introduce you to the salespeople that you should be working with at those vendors and oversee the coding process to make sure you get the best pricing from the operator. Connect vendor of your choice. And the nice thing is, is on top of all of that, I don’t charge your company a dime for my broker services. The actual operator connect vendors pay me my broker fee like a finder’s fee commission for bringing them new business so you don’t have to pay me anything. So there’s no excuse not to at least reach out and see what I have to say. So send me an email. Give me a call. I’d love to help you. It’s the reason why I do these videos and it’s a nice way to say thank you to me if you got something from the video. So definitely reach out. Especially if you’re a mid-sized company.
