What do IT Professionals Dig about their Office 365 in 2016?

There is no debating that Microsoft Office 365 is a HOT service for companies of all shapes and sizes. According to the reviews on our website, Microsoft Office 365 has a 4.2 brain rating… not too shabby.

But why?

Lower pricing? Ease of use? Reliability?

Rather than guess, I decided to get my hands dirty and extract this information from the customer reviews on our website. It was boring work but I think it produced a couple interesting results.

Below is a list of things IT professionals said they liked about their company’s Office 365 service… and the percentage of times each item was repeated throughout all of the O365 reviews.

1. Easy to Use: Mentioned in 20% of the reviews.

Do you find it interesting that Office 365’s “Reliability” is mentioned less than “Ease-of-use?” Not too fast my friend… I don’t think it means that IT professionals, like yourself, value simplicity over uptime.

Instead, I would venture to say it’s probably because Microsoft had a few outages last year with their Office 365 service… which probably prevented anyone from bragging about it never going down. It also means that the few outages weren’t enough to give them a poor rating.

What this DOES say is that a lot of users are currently happy with Office 365’s ease of use, support and the simplicity of migrating. Take note Microsoft… keep up the good work in those categories!

Disclaimer #1: This is only referencing reviews for Office 365, directly through Microsoft. This is not taking into account reviews on resellers of Office 365 service… which are plentiful and would be an interesting contrast for a future blog.
Disclaimer #2: It is very common for reviews to mention 2-3 things, which explains why the percentages don’t add up to 100%… for all of you statistic debunkers out there!
