You work in IT for a company that’s in the market for a new phone system, and Zoom Phone is something your organization has heard of — but you’re wondering what’s new with Zoom Phone in 2026 and whether it’s worth a look. In this video, I cover everything Zoom Phone has added in 2026 — the good, the bad, and what your company needs to know. Want a demo and quote on Zoom Phone for your medium to large size company? My Recommendation

If you work for a medium to large size company — 50 employees up to a few thousand — and you want a demo or a quote on Zoom Phone, don’t call Zoom directly. Reach out to me instead. Send me an email or give me a call at 714.593.0011. I will get you much better pricing on Zoom Phone than if you call them on your own, and I’ll give you recommendations on the best competitors to compare side by side. It costs nothing to work with me — the service providers pay my broker fee. Join the thousands of other IT departments who have used me to help their company make a better decision in a fraction of the time. The Bad News First: Zoom Increased Their Pricing

Let’s get the bad news out of the way. In 2026, Zoom Phone increased their standard base rate from $15 to $16 per month per user. That’s a $1 increase across the board. That said, if you’re a medium to large size company, that is not the price you’re going to pay. Getting better pricing for companies your size is exactly what I do — so reach out before you go anywhere near Zoom’s standard rate.

Zoom Is Adding Contact Center Features to Their Base Phone System License

Here’s where things get interesting. One of the biggest trends I’ve noticed with Zoom in 2026 is that they’re actively adding contact center features into their base level phone system licensing — what they call their UCaaS product. Full call center software runs $70 to $80 per month per user or more. If your company has some call center needs but isn’t ready to jump to a full contact center license, Zoom is now giving you a middle ground.

New Feature: Log In and Log Out of Call Queues

The first contact center feature Zoom added to their base phone system license is the ability for agents to log in and log out of call queues. If you have a call queue set up and you want your users to be part of it, they can now toggle in and out — all on the basic phone system license. No call center upgrade required.

New Feature: Reason Codes for Log Out

Alongside queue log in and log out, Zoom added a customizable reason code feature. When a user logs out of a call queue, they’re required to select a reason from a dropdown menu that you configure. Options like lunch break, restroom break, or general break period — whatever makes sense for your team. This gives managers visibility into why agents are stepping out of the queue during the day.

New Feature: Callback in Queue

The third contact center feature Zoom added to their base license is callback in queue. If a caller is waiting on hold in your call queue and the wait time is long, they now have the option to enter their phone number and receive a callback when it’s their turn — instead of sitting on hold. This is typically a call center software feature that most vendors don’t offer on a basic phone system license. Zoom added it to their base package in 2026.

The Biggest Addition: Zoom Revenue Accelerator

The most significant thing Zoom added in 2026 is a product called the Zoom Revenue Accelerator. It’s an add-on to Zoom Phone, and in my opinion it’s built specifically for sales teams. If your company has a sales organization making and taking a high volume of calls, this tool is worth a serious look.

What Does Zoom Revenue Accelerator Do?

The Revenue Accelerator uses AI to analyze every conversation your salespeople have. After each call, it generates a summary with next steps. It also tracks metrics like talk-to-listen ratio, talk speed, longest monologue, and filler word rate — and compares each conversation against thresholds you can set yourself. Every metric gets a green checkmark if the threshold was met, or a grayed out indicator if it wasn’t. It’s like giving your salespeople a mirror — letting them see exactly what they sound like on every call and self-correct over time.

AI Q&A on Conversations

Beyond the automatic analytics, salespeople can select any conversation and ask AI direct questions. How did I do on this call? Who were the key decision makers? What are my next steps? Is this customer ready to close? They can even ask for sales coaching tips on specific calls. Managers get the same capability — they can pull any set of conversations and ask AI to surface objections, summarize outcomes, or flag deals that look close to closing.

Automated Follow-Up Emails

The Revenue Accelerator can also generate follow-up emails automatically. After a call or meeting, a salesperson can ask the tool to create a follow-up email based on the conversation — using a template they’ve set up in advance. The tool pulls the key takeaways, next steps, and summary from the call, drops them into the template, and produces a draft the salesperson reviews and sends. Fast, consistent, and saves real time at scale.

Manager Dashboard and Alerts

Sales managers get a customizable dashboard that surfaces the most important information the moment they log in — objections from the previous day, call scores, trends across the team. They can also set up alerts delivered via email, text, or instant message on whatever cadence they want. Daily summaries, weekly recaps, or real-time alerts when specific things happen on a call — like a competitor name being mentioned or an objection being raised.

CRM Integration and Multi-Source Data

The Revenue Accelerator integrates with your CRM, pulling deal stage data and associating conversations with active opportunities. It’s also not limited to Zoom Phone calls alone — it pulls data from web conference meetings, instant messages, text messages, and email. It even pulls from Microsoft Teams and Outlook if your company uses those tools alongside Zoom. Everything lives inside the Zoom app — no separate platform to log into.

One More Update: Power Pack Is Now Called Customer Engagement Pack

Last thing worth noting — Zoom renamed their Power Pack feature to the Customer Engagement Pack in 2026. The functionality is the same: real-time analytics on call queues and a strong set of reporting tools. But if you’ve seen me mention Power Pack in previous videos, know that it’s now operating under a new name going forward.

Want a Demo and Quote on Zoom Phone?

That’s everything Zoom has added in 2026 — and we’re only halfway through the year. Zoom is developing fast and I expect more updates before the year is out. If you’re a medium to large size company in the market for a phone system, send me an email or give me a call at 714.593.0011. Do not call Zoom directly for a demo or a quote — contact me. I’ve been a broker for Zoom and all of their competitors for over 20 years. I’ll get you better pricing, introduce you to the right salespeople, and give you an honest recommendation on whether Zoom is the right fit or if a competitor belongs on your shortlist. And I don’t charge you anything. Don’t forget to subscribe to the YouTube channel, check out AeroComInc.com, and leave me a comment below. Thanks for watching — I’ll catch you on the next one.
