New Call of Duty Ghosts Teaming up with Dedicated Servers

Dedicated servers for Call of Duty will allow multiplayer gamers to connect through a third party connection to reduce lag within the game rather than a player host with a “peer to peer” structure.

Rubin went on to announce that dedicated servers will “Place players in matches that have the best combined overall connective performance.”

Dedicated servers are not just being limited to Xbox One for improved connectivity but will be expanded to current gen, next gen and PC as well. So no matter where you are in the game or what level you have just beaten, you will always be receiving the best online performance as possible.
