Analog Lines (POTS)

In my previous experience , Comcast PRI delivered over a T1 is pretty good compare to at&t in our area even though it was costlier than the others. I had 4 sites where i have PRI onver t1 and never had any problems. #spicywan

Analog Lines (POTS)

02/23/16

I've migrated our office from Comcast POTS to internal VoIP. I had to work with Comcast to change the primary account phone line, drop out extra lines, and allow release of our main number to our new provider.

There were several hiccups; from working with someone knowledgeable, to releasing the number at the scheduled time. We almost had a full 24 hour downtime. Other than this incident, our fax line is working fine under their service and has been going well. Additional support calls have gone well.

We had a small office so this type of service was good for us. About 8 users full time and 4 who come and go - but mostly were remote users.

Analog Lines (POTS)

I was trying to consolidate out upgrade as well as get all the copper out of the buildings. To be fair I hate POTS lines, they are a pain . So when looking to make this change we where moving t o comcast for PRI and they mentioned they do a kind of POTS line. I was sold. we made the move to comcast for the couple pots lines we needed ( security systems) and haven't had an issue since.
My one big complaint is I have three buildings two internet drops and in-turn have to have 3 bills. accounting hates it and it causes confusion on support calls. if the ycould figure out how to allow my company to have one bill for all our services it would be the best vendor i deal with.
