Detection and Response (EDR, XDR, MDR, etc.)

I also have been using SW way back as an early adopter. Had trouble finding devices and had to learn how the software worked to my benefit. Over time (and so glad I stuck around), it has grown in ability, their team grew, and super knowledgeable if help is needed. Great tool for those with simple and even advanced needs. Reporting, Monitoring, Email notices, etc.

It is a free software so i cant really complain.it is in its initial stage , should put beta tag on it. easy installation and configuration but lags whenever you add a server. taking too much memory and cpu. but since last update it is far better so i hope it will be a better software soon.

I deployed the network monitoring tool. Easy enough to setup, but not very configurable. it takes all the resources from server even if you have added only few server in to it. Linux servers are not added yet and so buggy but good thing is they releases updates frequently and getting better by every month. Great tool but still long way to go.

Great tool for smaller networks. We only have 4 switches and 8 servers to monitor. With so few things being monitored I can have all the relevant information with just a quick glance at the tab I have it open in. It saved me hours of troubleshooting after we had lightning come in through a network run.

I am quite impressed with the free monitoring tools that Spiceworks offers. We are a small organization with a low budget, so to find something this robust and feature-packed was a real treat. We have minor issues with it and it really helps up keep track of IT inventory and assets on the network.

Spiceworks Network monitoring tool is till in its intial stage. very hard to manage more than 5 servers when you are using a medicre host server. it is resource hungry and full of bugs but the good thing is they listen and clear bugs before you know it. but still a long way to go.

I begun using the monitoring tools way back when Spiceworks was version 1.7 . There were many bugs that needed to work out and it was such a process to clear up all the unidentified devices. Now 10 years in the making, the product has come a long way and with stellar free IT gurus to help assist, SW has really been a great tool and offers so much. Reporting and monitoring work great, would recommend.

My previous employer used (still uses) SpiceWorks' network monitoring tools and it was my first taste of IT. The software is fantastic - it's incredibly detailed and easy to navigate. The forums are full of other IT pros and staff that can answer any questions you may have in regards to their software (or anything, really). Highly recommended! #spiceworks

Thanks AeroCom for adding the best service in the history of IT. And, Id like to add that I requested spiceworks be added to the list! (your welcome spiceheads!) Spiceworks is hands down the best IT community - FREE or paid - to have in your back pocket. The network monitor was probably one of the greatest inventions yet. I use it to monitor our small network of a few servers and switches. As always there are a few bugs to work out but, for the most part, its very easy to setup and the support team is always available to help. Help desk is integrated right in like a chat interface. Its great! #spiceworks
