Every company has a mission. What's ours? To empower every person and every organization to achieve more. We at Microsoft believe technology can and should be a force for good and that meaningful innovation contributes to a brighter world in the future and today. Our culture doesn’t just encourage curiosity; it embraces it. Each day we make progress together by showing up as our authentic selves. We show up with a learn-it-all mentality. We show up cheering on others, knowing their success doesn't diminish our own. We show up every day open to learning our own biases, changing our behavior, and inviting in differences. When we show up, we achieve more together.

he Users Experience is undoubtedly one of the most important things that can be thought of when designing a Content Management System. New release is easier than ever to get started with, for IT administrators and for end users. If you can get the critical mass of information and usage, the new interface and tools will make SharePoint online an extremely valuable business tool.

Our organization uses SharePoint and have been for the last several years. Now that the structure is so well established, it would be a nightmare to switch or change to an alternate solution. Reliable, fast, good integration, works with all our devices, etc.
It's a huge benefit for our office of 20+, plus all our remote users, and easy to manage. Permissions are a big matter and with ease we can set up sub folders and give appropriate rights. We will be likely to stick with this for a very long time.

We use this for our file management at the office. It works very well, but my main thing that I do not like is when you map the web address to a network location to your computer (to have a mapped on your PC). It breaks every few days, and you have to navigate back into the site to regain access to the drive, and it doesn't always work. Other than that negative it does work well accessing in the browser (if you are using a public computer, chromebook, or a netbook). With the in browser editor, it does make working remotely nicely. If you aren't looking for a mapped drive, SharePoint is the way to go. #Spiceworks

SharePoint is by far the best hosted file storage system for us to set up. Since it ties in with other Microsoft services, it's a benefit to utilize the same user structure. Setting up folder access and rights can take some time, but when it's up and running, it works well. We also incorporate adding a network location in a windows environment to link directly to needed SP sub folders.
