Level three communications has a great solutions but they had no free trial . only included free demo and personal had in experience for 2 -3 hours. so we didn't get enough exposure to test it properly. international calling is free or cheaper with this provider and they can reroute call automatically.

We used L3 communications to connect both our primary corporate headquarters to the internet (and thus to our satellite offices through VPN) for years, as well as connecting our office to our DR site through a dedicated circuit, and I loved their service. Hardly ever any problems, and when there were, the issue was always remediated within an hour. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

When it works, it's fast, but it not as reliable as some other vendors used before, like TW, Verizon etc. Office I worked in switched from TW to L3 and we had nothing but outages every few days on and off and were told it "was us", when it was them and later they had regional outages.

After switching from Verizon to Level 3 our bandwidth not only increased, but so did its reliability. The only reason why I would not give it a full rating is because we have had down time (twice) since switching. One of the times a PSU failed for one of their devices. It took longer than expected to get the part replaced and get back up and running. .. This made for a very unsatisfied CEO.

We originally where TW Telecom customers that went to Level 3 with the merger. We had been with TW Telecom for many years and service was very good. Occasionally we would have issues and sometimes that could be very difficult to troubleshoot mainly because of the finger pointing game.
Pricing was very high and their argument was that the pricing was for a higher level of support service, but I never felt that we got that higher level of support. We moved to a new provider and I feel that we now have better support and the price is half what Level 3 wanted.
On a good note our service representative was very good and I enjoyed working with him (unfortunately he's no longer there).
In short, they do have good service and support okay, but it's just not worth the price they charge from what I've seen.

We just switched over to Level 3 Communications from AT&T and we have noticed a SIGNIFICANT increase in speed and reliability. Our initial configuration was smooth and went off without a single complaint. Our rep is very knowledgeable and flexible in regards to our schedule - we had to finalize moving over our connection at 4:30 in the morning and our rep was there, ready to go. I highly recommend their services! #spiceworks

We signed up with Level 3 over 3 years ago when we moved to our current location in Downtown LA. The internet service is extremely reliable and at an excellent low price. I would recommend Level 3 over other companies hands down.
