\nAttention all tech-savvy people! It\u2019s 2014 and that means it\u2019s a new year of the top trending technologies and advances that companies have made, and let\u2019s not exclude others. Let\u2019s be honest, these technologies have everyone excited to wait in line at Best Buy or sit by their TV\u2019s to learn more and to get their hands on the latest item. So let\u2019s take a sneak peak into the world of technology and find out what AeroCom thinks are the top trends to look for in 2014.<\/p>\n

Be aware\u2026some of these seem way too futuristic but they are real!<\/p>\n

  1. The first thing that you can expect to see are machine drones in the sky. Yes, it\u2019s true, Amazon has announced their new Amazon Prime Air feature, allowing an individual to purchase something online and they will have it at their doorstop\"\"<\/a> within 30 minutes of purchasing it. This will be conducted using a flying drone through the sky. Now you may be thinking to yourself what does the FAA have to say about that? Don\u2019t worry because the FAA has already released its first roadmap addressing the concerns of people worrying about these new drones.<\/li>\n

  2. Another tech trend that you can expect to see in 2014 is the use of \u201cWearable Tech\u201d. I\u2019m sure many of you have either seen or already invested in the new Samsung Galaxy Gear Watch or other unique items. But you can ex\"\"<\/a>pect to see more. In 2014, it is expected that Google is supposed to be releasing their new augmented-reality glasses expanding the growth of the wearable tech industry. Who needs robots when we are going to soon become walking robots!<\/li>\n

  3. In 2014, you can expect to find smarter televisions. LG is planning to release a new feature in which it lets users connect and communicate with their smart home appliances using a single app that they call \u201cLine\u201d. Along with LG\u2019s latest feature, Samsung will be rele\"\"<\/a>asing a new smart TV that will allow it\u2019s users to use voice command and gestures to control their television.<\/li>\n

  4. Another new tech savvy trend that is becoming popular is the use of biometrics. Although fingerprint and eye scanners aren\u2019t necessarily a new technology, the use of them in the consumer market is. Within the next year, you can expect to see devices that use physical locks for pr\"\"<\/a>otection with the use of biometrics.<\/li>\n

  5. Lastly, another new feature is the invention of the 3D printer. The use of the 3D printer is expected to have a growth rate of 59% from now until 2017.
