{"id":3497,"date":"2013-10-29T17:04:04","date_gmt":"2013-10-29T17:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aerocominc.com\/?p=3497"},"modified":"2015-05-07T16:04:13","modified_gmt":"2015-05-07T23:04:13","slug":"8x8-elects-jaswinder-pal-singh-to-board-of-directors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aerocominc.com\/info\/8x8-elects-jaswinder-pal-singh-to-board-of-directors\/","title":{"rendered":"8&#215;8 Elects Jaswinder Pal Singh to Board of Directors!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nOct 29, 2013 (Menafn &#8211; M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) &#8211;8&#215;8 Inc <a href=\"\/global_stocks_all.asp?Symbol=EGHT\">EGHT<\/a>, a provider of cloud communications and collaboration solutions, announced on Monday that Dr Jaswinder Pal (JP) Singh has been named to its board of directors, effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Singh succeeds Mansour Salame, who has served on the company&#8217;s board since January 2012 and resigned last week to pursue other opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, Dr Singh&#8217;s appointment to its board aligns with its recently announced plans to increase the investment in its Research &amp; Development activities to add new services and applications to its cloud communications and collaboration services platform.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Dr Singh is a Full Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University and chairman and co-founder of Gwynnie Bee Inc. Prior to that he was co-founder and chief technology officer at firstRain Inc, a SaaS provider of market intelligence solutions for the enterprise. He has also served as an advisor to Right Media Inc, a SaaS online advertising exchange that was acquired by Yahoo in 2007, and later led the development of Yahoo&#8217;s next-generation advertising marketplace.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/aerocominc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/images.jpg\" rel='magnific'><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/aerocominc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/images.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"images\" width=\"355\" height=\"142\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4233\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>8&#215;8 names Jaswinder Pal Singh to Board of Directors, effective immediately!
