All kinds of cool stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Is 8&#215;8 a Fit for Large Companies?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All right. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerocominc.com\/info\/is-8x8-good-for-a-large-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Is 8&#215;8 a good fit for large companies<\/a>? Well, first of all, why am I talking about large companies? That\u2019s because my expertise is medium to large size companies. So this review is going to focus on medium to large sized businesses. If you&#8217;re a small company, take this review with a grain of salt because it might not directly apply to your business. As I always do with these reviews, I like to start out with where 8&#215;8 is a particularly good fit. I would say 8&#215;8 is a particularly good fit if your company is looking for both a phone system service provider and a contact center application on the same platform\u2014that&#8217;s where 8&#215;8 shines. They do a pretty good job. 8&#215;8 might be one of the vendors I&#8217;d recommend for that, though it depends on your other requirements. But that&#8217;s where they&#8217;re a really good fit. Now I&#8217;d like to get into the actual review of 8&#215;8. The way I do this, if you&#8217;ve seen any of my other videos, is by reviewing service providers based on ten factors that I think are really important for medium to large size companies evaluating a phone system. I grade the service provider on a scale of 1 to 10 on each of these items\u2014one being the worst, ten being the best. Overall, I give <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2uOhZcEDHWc&amp;embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aerocominc.com%2F&amp;source_ve_path=MjM4NTE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">8&#215;8 a 7.3 rating<\/a>. Let&#8217;s dive in and see why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Service and Customer Experience Ratings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Service quality: I give 8&#215;8 a 9 out of 10. They do a pretty good job. My 8&#215;8 customers do not complain about downtime, outages, or call quality issues. Overall, a solid score. Customer service: I also give 8&#215;8 a 9 out of 10. Very good rating. I have not had complaints from customers about 8&#215;8\u2019s customer service. They seem to do a great job for medium to large size companies. If customers need something, they\u2019re able to get it through 8&#215;8\u2019s service team. Five-year viability: this one is trickier. I ask whether 8&#215;8 will still be around five years from now. In technology, five years is a long time. Companies get bought and sold. For 8&#215;8, I give them a 5 out of 10. Why? Because I simply don\u2019t know. It\u2019s not great, not bad\u2014just uncertain. They\u2019re big enough that if they aren\u2019t around in five years, they\u2019ll likely be acquired by another vendor who will continue the platform. But again, who knows. They\u2019re solid, but less popular than some major vendors. That gives them a decent chance, but the uncertainty keeps their score at 5 out of 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Features and User Experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For features, I give 8&#215;8 an 8 out of 10. They have many strong features, including a great contact center product. They cover the basics: SMS, analytics, reporting, and more. Still, I give them an 8 instead of a 10 because they\u2019re missing a few things\u2014like better integration of 8&#215;8 into the phone system app or a stronger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerocominc.com\/info\/calltower-teams-phone-operator-connect-review-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Teams plug-in<\/a>. For user experience, I give them a 6 out of 10. Users can navigate the platform fairly well, and I haven\u2019t heard complaints that it\u2019s too difficult. However, in demos, a few people suggested that the platform could be upgraded to improve user experience. Also, 8&#215;8 isn\u2019t Teams or Zoom, which are the most prevalent conferencing and instant messaging applications. Most medium to large businesses already use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AX5z3jPFs9E&amp;embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aerocominc.com%2F&amp;source_ve_path=MjM4NTE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Teams or Zoom<\/a>, so using 8&#215;8 requires a separate app for phone systems. That makes things more cumbersome, which lowers the score. Customers tell me the admin tools are easy to navigate and understand. It\u2019s missing a few extras like drag-and-drop auto-attendant setup, but overall still very strong. Pricing gets a 5 out of 10\u2014right in the middle. Not high, not low. They do have some extra per-user fees, which I dislike. But to be fair, almost every cloud phone system vendor does this. They also don\u2019t offer call-path-based pricing, which some companies prefer. Instead, they stick to flat-rate, per-user pricing. Overall, that lands them at 5 out of 10 on pricing. Global availability is a strong suit, earning them 9 out of 10. They have one of the largest global networks for cloud phone systems, making them a solid option for international businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Integration and Hardware<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For integration, I give 8&#215;8 an 8 out of 10. They have many pre-built integrations with popular apps like Salesforce, HubSpot, and more. Their Teams integration could be stronger, which is why I dock a couple points, but overall it\u2019s a very good score. Hardware gets a 6 out of 10. Like most cloud phone vendors, hardware isn\u2019t their specialty. They can sell or rent hardware, but it\u2019s agnostic\u2014meaning it works with many cloud vendors, not just 8&#215;8. That\u2019s a plus, but it\u2019s not proprietary or advanced enough to raise the score higher.
