And one of the options you’re considering is Microsoft Teams phone system. But today you have a phone system that has a call queue with a specific type of routing calls like phones, ring a certain way when calls come into your call queue and you’re wondering, can Microsoft teams phone emulate the same routing? We have today on our current call queue? I’m Mike Smith. I’m the president of Aerocom. Let’s put our heads together on this

My recommendations

But first, if you’d like my recommendation on the best dial tone providers for teams phone system to know which ones your company should be quoting, reach out.

Reach out, send me an email or give me a call (714.593.0011). I’d love to help you with that. I will help your company make a lot better decision in a fraction of the time. More information on that at the end of the video. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any of the videos I put out each week. And if you’d like to video, hit the like button, ring the bell, all that good stuff and leave me a comment. I’d love to hear what you have to say.

4 Call Routing Options for Teams Phone

team’s phone system actually has four different ways you can set up call routing for call queues. The first way is called attendant routing, which a lot of other cloud phone systems would call that simultaneous ring. So that’s when if somebody calls into your call queue, all phones ring at the same time.

The second option you have with Microsoft teams phone system for call queue routing, it’s called serial routing. Now that is when you set up users in the exact order that you want calls to ring. So say you have a salesperson who’s your top salesperson. You want them to receive the calls first and then if they’re not available, the next person, then the next person, then the next person. So you set up the order and it rings in that order.

The third type of call routing Microsoft teams phone has is called round Robin. What that is, is that when calls will load balance among the available agents receiving phone calls. So think of it like just making sure that, you know, one person isn’t getting several calls in a row. It just load balances between everybody.

And the last option for call routing is called longest idle. So just as it states, it’s going to route the call to the person who’s been on idle the longest.

Other questions you may have

Now, some of the other questions you might have when it comes to teams phone system call routing for call queues is, hey, can agents log in or out? How many rings can we set up for these different types of routing? Can we get historical call reports? Can we get real time reporting on our call queues? Well, for things like that, reach out, send me an email or give me a call (714.593.0011). I’d be happy to help you with all that and I can give you the recommendations for the best dial tone service providers or operator connect service providers your company should be using, especially if you’re a mid-sized company.

Still confused? Reach out and contact me for the best business phone system provider

That’s my specialty. I’ve been a broker for all the major service providers for over 20 years, so I know the marketplace inside and out. I know based on your company’s requirements, which vendors you should be quoting, I can introduce you to those vendors and introduce you to the best reps you should be working with. Oversee the quoting process to make sure your company gets the lowest pricing. And on top of all that, the nice thing is, is the service providers pay me my broker fees so I don’t charge your company a dime. So there’s no excuse not to at least reach out and get my opinion on this stuff. So reach out, send me an email, give me a call. I love to help. I love talking about these things.

And if you got some benefit from the video, it’s a nice way to say thank you because that’s the reason why I do these videos is so that you guys will reach out to me for quotes. All right. Well, don’t forget to hit the subscribe button and subscribe so you don’t miss any of my future videos. I put out a new video at least once a week. And like the video, if you like it and I will catch you on the next one

Your company needs to upgrade your phone system, and Microsoft Teams Phone is something you’re considering.
