This is the third and final video I&#8217;ve done on this topic. But today I want to talk a little bit more about teams phone system redundancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Want my recommendations?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>But before we get too far ahead of myself. Your company is looking into a new phone system and teams phone system is on your list of things that you&#8217;re considering. But one of the things that you&#8217;re probably concerned about is, is reliability, is uptime fail over, Hey, we&#8217;ve heard teams phone system had some outages and they did you know teams phone system did have some outages over the last couple of years. So if teams phone system goes down, is your entire phone system going to be down? So that&#8217;s something that is concerning you. You wanted to learn more about, well, watch my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yljTMwgFcf0&amp;list=PLZZlyh-i9KV8pMzyJ1WQ3ZuaCPw5THIRD&amp;index=34\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">other videos<\/a>. I&#8217;ll talk about some different redundancy options for teams today<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Fail Over Teams<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to cover the option of the ability to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerocominc.com\/info\/microsoft-teams-phone-system-reliability-failover-options-complete-redundancy\/\">fail<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerocominc.com\/info\/microsoft-teams-phone-system-reliability-failover-options-complete-redundancy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerocominc.com\/info\/microsoft-teams-phone-system-reliability-failover-options-complete-redundancy\/\">over teams<\/a>. You&#8217;re like your main number from your team&#8217;s phone system to a third-party auto attendant. So what this is, this is a good option for a service provider who&#8217;s coming in and maybe providing operator connect to your midsize or large organization. And you know, the way they can provide you redundancy is they can auto fail over your any phone number that you have, which usually is your main phone number is the only phone number companies do this with. But sometimes companies have a couple of phone numbers they do it with, but they can do it for one phone number at a time. They usually charge 10 to $15 per month. And what they can do is if teams goes down, they can automatically fail over that phone number to point it to an auto attendant sitting on a third party platform. And within that auto attend attendant, you can have like have it preprogramed with a dial by name directory or dial by department directory with people&#8217;s cell phones on there so that so that people can reach other people within the organization. Still once they get to the auto attendant, it can forward to other phone numbers.
