But what isn\u2019t obvious is that in order to lead effectively, you have to work well with the other C-levels within your company and also the board of directors.<\/p>\n<p>That last part, in particular, is the number one thing <a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/nikkgilbert\/\">Nikk Gilbert<\/a>, long-time global CISO, and current CISO for <a href=\"https:\/\/cherokeenationbusinesses.com\/\">Cherokee Nation Businesses<\/a>, attributes to his success.<\/p>\n<p>How does he get along with those executives so well?
