So, Call Park is when an incoming call comes into your business and say, you pick up the phone and it&#8217;s for John, and John is in the warehouse. Well, you can get on the overhead paging system and say, &#8220;Hey John, call on line one,&#8221; and you can put that call on Park, on \u201cline one\u201d and John (from any phone within your company), can walk over and see that phone and hit \u201cline one\u201d and talk to the person. That&#8217;s called Call Park. You&#8217;re <em>parking<\/em> the call until John can pick it up on whatever line it&#8217;s on.<\/p>\n<p>So that&#8217;s different than Call Pickup. Call Pickup sounds very similar but Call Pickup is actually when an incoming call is coming in for John, who\u2019s sitting at another desk (and you can hear the phone ringing), but you know John&#8217;s not sitting there and you want to grab that call because it&#8217;s important. You can actually use a Call Pickup feature to pick up John&#8217;s phone call for him (while you&#8217;re sitting at your desk). That&#8217;s called Call Pickup.<\/p>\n<p>So if your company, again, uses either of those features, make sure you understand what the feature is called and make sure you also explain it to the sales rep you&#8217;re working with, just to make sure they&#8217;re on your same page and they can do that feature functionality for your company through their solution.<\/p>\n<p>So I hope that was helpful.
