These are ISPs out there\u2026 they&#8217;re actually internet service providers\u2026 who specialize in reselling every other facilities-based ISP in the United States, or in the world. Yet, you still have one customer service number, one bill, and you have a web portal where you can see it all and manage it all.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you ever get a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techopedia.com\/definition\/14049\/trouble-ticket\" target=\"_blank\">trouble ticket<\/a> coming in from one of your sites, you still have one phone number to contact. This&#8217;ll help reduce billing errors, so billing errors will be caught right away. That&#8217;ll save you a ton of money right away.<\/p>\n<p>Also, you can have that ISP Aggregator offer a monitoring service. So for a small amount per month, maybe $7 or so per circuit per month, the ISP will actually ping all of your IP addresses and let you know if one of the connections is experiencing a ton of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Latency_(engineering)\" target=\"_blank\">latency<\/a>, or a ton of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Packet_loss\" target=\"_blank\">packet loss<\/a>, or goes down, and they&#8217;ll automatically start a trouble ticket right away. That is a lot better than finding out (months later), that one of your secondary internet connections (at one of the sites), has been down for three months\u2026 and nobody knew.<\/p>\n<p>As your company grows, the more sites you get, the more it makes sense to use an ISP Aggregator. Yes, an ISP Aggregator, you might be wondering cost wise, does charge a little bit more. I&#8217;d say roughly about 20-30% more per site for that same connection you&#8217;d get by going direct, but the amount of soft cost savings you&#8217;ll have will, by far, exceed the additional hard cost savings you have by going with an ISP Aggregator.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that helps.
