We are curretnly using AWS for DR. configured everythign from S3, cached storage, EC2, gateway-VTL to AWS RDS. AWS has made server hardware troubleshooting a thing of the past. I love their services and up time is simply incredible. it is a great thing to manage everything to keep a painless transition to DR and it is great. Love AWS tools. #spiceworks

MAXfocus

We use Maxfocus to back up 12 different servers for SMBs. Set up was easy. It has been seamless so far. We have used it for about 9 mos. We have not had a failure yet for a restore (knock on wood). It has a consolidated dashboard to easily see any problems and/or progress.

I have used this in my previous company. we couldn't be more satisfied with how it has allowed us to transform our environment from traditional, tape-based disaster recovery to a more robust business continuity solution. The initial draw was to get away from the frustration of backup-to-tape and backup-to-disk solutions. I wish we had done it sooner! Other than a few hiccups as far as bandwidth issues on our side, everything worked well. #spiceworks

We were a big fan of CenturyLink but after 3 or 4 main disruptions, we decided to look foe other providers. We had no other problem with them but when you have them as DR solution , then it is go. support team is very good as far as i know but still there is a lot to improve for them. #spiceworks.

softlayer is one of effcient Dc in westcost .It was easy to set up our servers, we have secure access over VPN, and the APIs are very flexible for integration. we moved our servers from planet division after acquisition. The Softlayer tooling is easy to use, and provisioning of new servers is really faster and it helps wheneer you order a new one for clients. #spiceworks
