Cloud Back-Up - Servers

Typically we stick with one solution, and try to get clients on board with it by explaining the importance of critical systems backups and all the features we offer. We first came across Unitrends for a healthcare facility we support from previous IT and stuck with it after checking its reputability and support. We compared this to what we use and its quite impressive. It's setup is easy to learn and manage - we are glad to have come across it!

Unitrends brings enterprise level backup to SMBs and they are doing an amazing job at it. Unitrends provides granular level file backups and physical and virtual machine backups with agent connected. i have used an NFR for an year an i never had any problem.

i am using veeam currently and tried unitrends NFR i got it from spiceworks. it is amazing that it can backup physical and virtual machines at same time but you have to do install agents in every machine. i dont like the inteface as it is too intimidating for a new user but as you get along , you will find it bit easier. but i really hope they will make it better.

i have tested this as a replacement for symantec Backup Exec. very easy installation and configuration. It is very reliable and feature-rich product. Not the most intuitive GUI, but gets easier to use once you read the manual and understand their logic.

Cloud Back-Up - Servers

I work for a small business, around 45 employees. after migrated to virtual machine world, we needed an efficient and reliable way to automate regular backups. We're 100% virtualized now and have VM level backups covered, but the data in regular use needed to get saved to a second location as often as practical. Unitrend backups help us to create an e xtra set of copy and restore it even in file level. we have to install agents even on VMs but as 100% VM network, we are looking for an agentless backup.

We've had our 602 appliance now for about six months after coming off of a 8 months of constant issues with Acronis Advanced for Vmware. But Operation has been flawless after the assisted install & config from Unitrends (Dominique was awesome). Reports are concise & accurate. Using an incremental forever backup routine I can run a backup of our data every 15 minutes and have it finished in under a minute without my users complaining. I will be offering this solution to our clients when we start deploying WMware environments.

This is a great group, that offers a good product. I had the joy of working with them for several weeks and found the group very responsive and easy to work with.I love their licensing model where I do not have to buy something when I need a new server backed up.Great install, great support team, great web interface, lots of features, great product.

i consider them as once of the best VM + physical backup solution out there . but these days , there is no need of phycal servers anymore and you need to install agents even in Vms to backup those with unitrends which is a drawback . they are the best in granular level file backups and usually comes with trouble free.
