We switched to TWC for a point-to-point Fiber connection for our branch office. TWC was able to utilize our current fiber install at the main site and installed a unit at our branch site at no extra cost. Their rates were actually better than what we had been paying our phone company on a point-to-point 1.5 mpbs T1 line, while giving us much better (10 mbps) speeds. Installation also cost us nothing, in fact, we have only saved money by going with TWC for our point-to-point fiber connection, and our speed has been increased as well. We also use TWC for our analog business phone service. We have had a few outages and odd problems with the phone lines, but they have been resolved quickly. Our main 100 mbps fiber line is provided by OPLIN, but I believe that they have a contract with TWC for fiber connections to public libraries as well. I can only remember a few rare instances of our internet going out in the past 4 years. There was one outage that lasted nearly an entire day, but from what I understand, a big fiber line got cut by a utility company and it wasn't really TWC's fault.

Fiber Internet

Our company has had Time Warner Business Class (Fiber) for a few years now.
We have over 100 users at the site and have just recently upgraded our bandwidth to support our growing needs.
Time Warner has been reasonable with their customer service and prompt when issues have arisen.
To date I have had no outages, however, 2 times we have had terrible latency problems when reaching offsite servers. In both instances, they were resolved within an hour.
All in all TWC has been reliable, but I do believe they are pricey when it comes to the speed v.s. cost we are getting.

I have used Time Warner Cable Business Class for 10 years and overall have been satisfied with their service but do fine it overpriced. They do have SLA’s on their fiber services and do respond when needed. We did have an installation problem with a fiber line that was caused by a subcontractor. Time Warner should monitor their subcontractors more than they do. Time Warner did get a fiber crew out right away to get the line restored after the outage and Time Warner did follow up multiple times on the mater. #spiceworks
