We've transitioned a large firm involved with real estate recently from their on site server to the corporate network through the Cloud. We set up their sessions so that applications give the appearance to run on their local system. We rarely have issues come in from both the branch office and people logging in from home. Citrix WAN solutions work.
I have tested this for 2 months and it is a good service as a VDR but it is costly and dont have any short term contracts which is a deal breaker. it is an enterprise level solution which licensed for per user level and really not for any smbs. i will definitely use if i need it for a corporation :)
We have had this in use for over a couple years. Set it up for a title management company for real estate, so the price wasn't an issue. They needed something reliable and able to house the data and bandwidth. It can be overwheleming for first time admins setting this up with UI and setup. Once it's going, it's great. We use XenApp 6.5 as well.
It’s simple to set up and use, comes with amazing set of user management tools, allows you to provide permanent or temporary access to folders or documents to users outside your business infrastructure.
I have tried many cloud storage but Citrix ShareFile is the first I’ve used that feels as if you’re working in a true client/server environment. Designed for companies that need to manage their files and maintain control over who can make changes, ShareFile also provides options for permanently or temporarily sharing files with those outside your corporate umbrella.
i have used their VDR for an aqucision over a period of 12 months and i am quiet satisfied about it. it is very costly but you get granular level of file management and user management. it also comes with unlimited file upload to single VD rooms which is also nice. one of the best i ahve used but beware of the price.
i have tested it for our office but we didn't like it. first of all the price is higher than its competitors and they had no less than year contract. user experience is not really great when it comes to basic uses who want to login. Adminitration is pretty similar to any other solution and cant find any fault. but some times it is very slow. #spiceworks
I have used Sharefile VDR for 6 months. It is very easy to configure and invite users. Price is too much for any small business but if you need one, better go with a good company. it is secure and allows to use a lot bandwidth but too much complicated for users. so i moved to securedocs. #spiceworks
i started using sharefile for Virtual data room. a 100% cloud version with audit login and notifications, it is one of the best service in this area. creating and delegating folders are very easy as well. Bit too pricey as they offer $300+ /month but compliant with all regulators so it is a good choice #spiceworks.
It may not be popular as other services but Citrix ShareFile has a very strong case as an EFSS solution for enterprise market. It is secure and HIPPA compliance. and can leverage cloud and on-prmise storage. As a build to provide business tool, it has more attributes for business than other compactors. #spiceworks
I liked their product but customer service were so bad. We use it primarily to securely send and receive files with external parties but have started to build some internal processes into our ShareFile site as well. but it is not worth for the price we are paying.#spiceworks.
My users really like citrix sharefile. Citrix provided plenty of guides and walkthrough videos for many of the features to make it easy for my users to learn it as well.It is easy to use, and they keep enhancing it and adding features. The plugins make it simple for users to use especially the ShareFile Outlook Plugin helps outlook attachement to sync to server. #spiceworks
If you want a secure file-sharing service for your business, you should go for Citrix sharefile. one of the best feature is its mobile apps. you get very sophosticated citrix apps for users and it will let you eit files within devices, how cool is that? it is product deigned for business so it has so many features that you wont find anywhere else. YOu can register devices so that it wont let you access from other devices and it is an added security. #spiceworks
We use Sharefile to securely move files / pictures from smartphones to the backend datacenter. This has helped our admissions staff productivity greatly and gets the information to the people that need it almost immediately.
Many of our VPs also use Sharefile for sharing large files with external sources securely.
It's a great platform for enterprises to use with excellent security built in.
