I have so far implemented 3 SIP trunk solutions for clients and i can say that I am satisfied with my decision. It is not for everyone, could be a bit pricey but comes with free international Toll-Free Service. Their Flexible Scalability and Local Number Portability Support are very competitive to those who want to migrate. i could reccomend this to everyone who has long distance coverage. #spicysip

We made the switch from the old POTs lines to VOIP w/ CenturyLink a few years ago when I was just getting started in my current job. The SIP lines themselves have been fine. The service that we've received from CenturyLink(in the Mountain States area), however, has been decent in some aspects but awful in most others. I know that's not really fair without a detailed explanation but there just isn't enough time or space to cover everything in a single review. We will be switching to a new SIP provider (in house or hosted) as soon as our contract is up. #spicysip

We’re a small credit union with 5 branches in western WA supporting about 70 users. Two years ago, we decided to purchase a new VoIP phone system and, in doing so, to switch from PRI to SIP trunking since there were some cost savings to be had in doing so. While this proved to be one of the more complicated parts of our conversion to the new phone system, we have not had any trouble with SIP. We were lucky enough to have a phone vendor well versed in this conversion, and they were able to assist us in making sure that everything was in place as it should be for the new system. In looking back, I don't believe I've had a single instance where I needed to call CenturyLink for a problem with our SIP trunks. We are happy with them as SIP provider and not looking to change any time soon.
