Q: Is T1 broadband Internet access fast and overall the best type of Internet service for our company as opposed to DSL or Cable Internet service?

A: It depends on a lot of factors, including your uploading and downloading speed requirements, the number of employees using the connection, your business’ proximity to the local central office, the critical nature of your company’s Internet connection, etc. We will help you determine which is the better fit for your company.

Q: Is it better for businesses to use a T1 for phone service if our company has over 15 phone lines?

A: Not always. There are many questions to consider, such as whether or not your business is growing, how you want incoming calls to be answered, what phone system features you want to utilize, etc. We will help you answer all of these questions and determine what type of phone lines best fit your company.

Q: Do the incumbent local phone companies purposefully prevent competitive carriers from resolving issues in a timely manner?

A: No. This is a rumor started and supported by unknowledgable or dishonest people. The truth is the competitive carriers are much larger customers of the Incumbents than any individual business and therefore, have access to much higher and faster escalation than any individual business could ever get on their own. In addition, there are laws set in place by the Telecommunications Act of 1996 which make incumbents adhere to specific resolution time frames, non competitive behavior, etc.

Q: Dial tone and Internet access is so simple. Why shouldn’t I just find the best deals available, then choose the least expensive provider?

A: Dial tone and Internet access are the lifeline of your business. Choosing a carrier solely on price can cost your business much more money than you’re saving on your telecom bills.

Q: How come the last time we switched our corporation's provider, our prices and rates (on our bill), ended up being much higher than what we were proposed on our quotation?

A: It is difficult to know exactly without understanding the specific situations. Nevertheless, it is often the result of a sales rep leaving taxes, surcharges and/or the additional charges out of your quote. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence with reps only representing one carrier. They do not know whom else you are quoting and whether or not that competitor is leaving the taxes, surcharges and additional charges out of their quote. As a result, they keep their quote extremely lean in order to make it appear as low as possible. Since Aerocom represents nearly every carrier, we try to help customers understand every cost associated with each carrier so they can make the most educated decision possible.

Q: Why use AEROCOM to shop and quote prices and rates instead of calling each phone company/Internet provider on my own?

A:

  • Time savings: Your time is worth money. Why spend hours meeting with each individual carrier and trying to decipher each quote, technology and sales pitch offered by each one? Aerocom is one company that can present you with all of the same information in a fraction of the time.
  • Better Results: Using our experience and industry knowledge, we may uncover technologies, carriers or services you may not have known about. Being non-carrier biased, we will help you make the right decision and help you avoid making the wrong decision.

Q: Does AEROCOM charge a fee for their quotation services or for helping our company sign up with the provider of our choice?

A: No. We make our money through sales commissions paid by the provider you select.

Q: Will AEROCOM quote me the same prices with my selected provider as I can get if I called that provider, directly?

A: Yes - Guaranteed. We will guarantee to match or beat any current quote from the same provider for the same services. This guarantee is easy to fulfill since local and long distance phone companies and Internet providers only have one price. The model is very simple: The provider releases their set pricing and promotions to both AEROCOM (their sales agent), and their on-staff sales reps, then pay a commission to whomever sells their services. You will see the same pricing and promotions if you call each provider on your own. Sometimes, however, (since we know nearly every provider’s pricing limits), we can help you negotiate a better price than if you tried to call and shop these companies on your own.  The question remains:  Why would you go through the hassle when our quick quotation service is free?

Q: Is AEROCOM a reseller?

A: No. As a sales agent for the provider you choose, AEROCOM helps you buy direct. We help you select the best provider and then sign you up as a direct customer of that carrier. Your billing and customer service are still handled through the provider you choose. A reseller is a company that buys services in bulk from a provider, then resells those services to customers. A reseller bills the customer, directly and provides their own customer service.

Q: Will I receive the same response times and customer service if I buy services from AEROCOM?

A: Yes. Your selected carrier provides one level of customer service to all of their customers, regardless of who signed them up. In fact, AEROCOM’s customers often receive preferential treatment as a result of the leverage our large sales volume creates. Each provider tries to encourage AEROCOM to sell their services over their competitors. Therefore, the providers go out of their way to make sure we are happy with their services and continue to give them a favorable recommendation to our customers.

Q: Why do some businesses still choose to buy from the providers’ on-staff sales reps, rather than companies like AEROCOM?

A: Most of those businesses do not know agencies like AEROCOM exist. Until just recently, local phone service was a monopoly in the United States and fast broadband Internet service (as well as the web), did not exist. Businesses are just getting used to having a choice of providers, let alone knowing they can utilize an agency to help them in their shopping and selection process. As the population becomes more aware of the benefits of using an agency, you will see a growing percentage of businesses utilizing agency services to select a provider.  There's simply no reason not to do so.

Q: Do you sell phone system hardware?

A: No. Although selling other products can increase profit, AEROCOM feels a full-time effort is required to provide companies with the best possible resource for their phone service and Internet access providers. If you need a phone system, we can refer you to another company whom are also full-time experts, dedicated specifically to selling phone hardware in your area or county.

Q: Why is using AEROCOM better for my company, long-term?

A: Unlike most sales reps you are accustomed to in the industry (whom are paid a large one-time finder’s fee for winning your business), AEROCOM is paid a small monthly residual commission from the telecommunications provider you choose.  Therefore, we are incented to keep your long-term satisfaction a top priority.
